Irene

Irene Teo is a Certified Life Coach accredited by the International Coaching Federation. She is also the 001 pioneer Enneagram Coach of The Enneagram Academy since 2019. With a strong commitment to empowering individuals and families, she leverages her extensive background and community leadership skills to inspire meaningful change.

Before transitioning to full-time coaching, Irene dedicated seven years to the Singapore Public Service, where she held various roles within the social services sector. Her experience includes social service coordination and public sector engagement, during which she successfully managed multiple portfolios and led programs designed to meet the needs of the community.

Since becoming a full-time coach in 2022, she has gained over 900 hours of experience with clients from diverse backgrounds, including students, executives, educators, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and retirees, each contributing their unique stories to her coaching journey.
Her coaching philosophy emphasizes nurturing the individual rather than merely addressing the issue at hand. Irene is best known to her clients for being a warm and empathetic coach who creates a safe space for open, honest dialogue, guiding them through self-discovery and personal breakthroughs with insightful questions and genuine care.

As an empath, Irene embraces her sensitivity as a strength in her coaching practice, allowing her to create safe spaces for open conversations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her ‘me-time’ doing puzzles, crafting origami, and coloring while listening to Baroque music. An avid volunteer, she also speaks Hokkien and Cantonese, demonstrating her passion for supporting isolated seniors in her community.
